// Origin Story
In the early hours of a Tuesday morning — the kind that smells like cold coffee and compiler warnings — a subdomain was born. Not out of necessity, exactly. More out of the universal developer compulsion to have somewhere safe to break things.
demo.ramonloganjr.com was spun up on a modest VPS somewhere between a DNS flush and a
forgotten sudo apt upgrade. Its purpose was noble: absorb the chaos so production
wouldn't have to. Every rogue API call, every half-baked PHP experiment, every
var_dump($_POST) left in overnight — this domain took the hit without complaint.
Over time, the test environment became a kind of digital sketchpad. Ideas arrived as broken HTML.
They left as something almost worth deploying. The server logs read like a diary of obsession:
404s chasing 200s, redirects that looped twice before finding their feet,
and one particularly dramatic 500 that was never fully explained.
To the outside world, it was just a subdomain. To its creator, it was a laboratory. And every great laboratory needs a welcome mat.
So — welcome. Mind the sharp edges. The tests are still running.
